The ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ actor revealed during Jay Shetty’s “On Purpose” Podcasts. who is worried about “getting lost” in Hollywood.

“Look, I’m a really big fan of making movies, but I really don’t like Hollywood, it’s not for me,” Holland said. “Business really scares me. I understand that I am a part of that business and I enjoy my type of interaction with it. But that said, I’m always looking for ways to get away from it, to live as normal a life as possible.

The “Uncharted” star continued, “I definitely think it was an ongoing thought, which is, ‘Don’t get lost.’ I’ve seen so many people come before me and get lost, and I’ve had friends I grew up with who aren’t my friends anymore, because they got lost in it.

Holland said, “I’m really, really eager to focus on what makes me happy… Those are the things I’m supposed to protect.”

Earlier this year, Holland confirmed he was taking a break from acting after filming the Apple TV+ psychological thriller “The Crowded Room.”

“We were exploring some emotions that I’ve definitely never felt before, and then on top of that, being a producer dealing with the day-to-day issues that come with any film set added that extra layer of pressure,” said Holland. . “I loved it, but again, the show broke me. There came a time when I thought, ‘I need a break.’ I disappeared. I went to Mexico for a week and spent some time on a beach. And now I’m taking a year off, and that’s a result of how difficult this show has been.

The mixed reviews for the series also caused Holland to address his own “resilience” in the public eye.

“It’s no secret that my show has been reviewed so horribly, but I’m here today to promote the show and I’m still here,” Holland said. “I am very resilient. It is of good quality.”
