The Burn Book is going digital via TikTok.

Paramount Pictures has launched an official TikTok “Mean Girls” page in honor of “Mean Girls” Day (October 3), where the entire 2004 movie can be viewed in snippets — all 97 minutes, free for TikTokers, in 23 clips.

The launch is likely to drum up excitement for Paramount’s “Mean Girls” movie musical set for theatrical release on January 12, and to tap into a new generation of fans. But it’s also clearly a test to see where audiences are headed. Lead actress Reneé Rapp, who originated the Regina George musical character on Broadway and plays her in the new film, currently has 1.5 million TikTok followers.

“Get in loser, we’re watching the full ‘Mean Girls,’” the official TikTok page reads.

The “Mean Girls” movie musical opens January 12, 2024, in theaters, foregoing a Paramount+ streaming release as initially slated. Also co-written by the original film’s screenwriter, Tina Fey, and based on the 2017 Tony-nominated Broadway show, the musical movie brings a new crop of Plastics to take over the high school halls 20 years later.

The “Saturday Night Live” alum is confirmed to reprise her role as math teacher Ms. Norbury. In her class, Cady (Lindsay Lohan) infamously asked Aaron Samuels (Jonathan Bennett) what day it is on October 3, hence known thereafter among fans as “Mean Girls” Day.

In addition to Lohan and Fey, “Mean Girls” starred Rachel McAdams, Amanda Seyfried, Lacey Chabert, Lizzy Caplan, Tim Meadows, Daniel Franzese, and Amy Poehler.

Next year’s “Mean Girls” features Fey’s husband Jeff Richmond behind the music. Arturo Perez Jr. and Samantha Jayne co-direct the film.

“Mare of Easttown” and “Senior Year” star Angourie Rice is set to play Cady. Jaquel Spivey, Auli’i Cravalho, Avantika, and Bebe Wood round out the high schoolers, with “The Office” alum Jenna Fischer playing Cady’s mother and Busy Philipps as Regina’s “cool mom.”
