The state of the breed
As the 96th Academy Awards approach, the conversation has begun about which films of 2023 will resonate with voters in a post “Everything, Everywhere, All at Once” world.

The mid-year “Barbie”/”Oppenheimer” dichotomy has driven the conversation about what kind of film still has the potential to succeed as the overall box office continues to struggle.
Fall brings eagerly anticipated titles like Martin Scorsese’s ‘Killers of the Flower Moon’, Ridley Scott’s ‘Napoleon’ and Bradley Cooper’s ‘Maestro’, which not only represent what is considered the top prize, but show how it is Streaming continues to integrate into Oscar conversations.
