A24 has optioned rights to “The Simple Life” icon Paris Hilton‘s autobiography “Paris: The Memoir,” published this past March. Deadline first shared the news of a reported six-figure deal for a TV series adaptation of the book. IndieWire confirmed the news separately with an individual close to the project.

Hilton’s entertainment banner 11:11 Media, Elle and Dakota Fanning‘s Lewellen Pictures, along with David Bernad’s Middle Child Pictures, are producing.

A24 retweeted the Deadline announcement with the caption, “That’s hot.”

“Paris: The Memoir” charts Hilton’s struggle with ADHD, anxiety, and abuse. Hilton described the book in publisher HarperCollins’ description as an “effort to understand my place in a watershed moment: the technology renaissance, the age of influencers. I also wrote this book so that the world could know who I am today. I focused on key aspects of my life that led to what I am most proud of — how my power was taken away from me and how I took it back, how I built a thriving business, a marriage and a family.”

11:11 Media’s Slivington Manor will produce with A24, while executive producers are Hilton, Bruce Gersh, the Fannings, and Brittany Kahan Ward for Lewellen Pictures, plus Bernad.

Lewellen, co-run with Brittany Kahan Ward, produced “The Great” and “The Girl From Plainville,” both starring Elle Fanning.

No casting or writers for the Hilton project have been announced. Hilton’s iconic 2000s rise to fame was bookended by a feud with former personal assistant-turned-reality TV mogul Kim Kardashian.

The upcoming memoir won’t be the first real-life story A24 has brought to the big screen: Sofia Coppola’s upcoming “Priscilla” is adapted from Priscilla Presley’s 1985 memoir “Elvis and Me.” Presley serves as an executive producer on Coppola’s third venture with A24, starting with “The Bling Ring,” which also has a tangential Hilton tie as the real-life robbers ransacked Paris Hilton’s estate. Meanwhile, A24’s upcoming WWE drama “The Iron Claw” stars Zac Efron and Jeremy Allen White as members of the ill-fated Von Erich family.

A24’s slate of TV projects includes Benny Safdie and Nathan Fielder’s “The Curse,” premiering November 10.
